::About the Author::
Jonathan Ginsburg is a principal in the law firm of Fettmann, Tolchin & Majors, P.C., a full-service
law firm with emphases in U.S. immigration and nationality law, tax and estate matters, licensing and
contractual concerns, business and employment issues, and litigation. The firm's immigration group
concentrates on obtaining work-related immigrant and nonimmigrant benefits for a wide array of business
clientele, and specializes in immigration matters relating to the arts, entertainment, motion picture
and television productions and athletics. In 1991, Mr. Ginsburg served as counsel to the broad arts
and entertainment coalition formed in response to threats posed by the Immigration Act of 1990, and he
is an expert on the O and P nonimmigrant visa provisions together with their permanent residence
counterparts. He has written numerous articles and lectured widely on the subject. Mr. Ginsburg
is an active member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association. He received his undergraduate
degree from Yale University (B.A., 1973) and his law degree from Stanford University (J.D., 1976).
