LATEST NEWS ALERT: Effective Immediately: New Filing Addresses for All O and P petitions - (11/05/25)
Last week, USCIS announced filing location changes for a number of visa classifications that use form I-129, which includes O and P petitions. This change is a separate and additional announcement of address change from a prior announcement about regarding filing PPS upgrade requests for pending petitions.
Effective immediately, but with a grace period for petitions postmarked through November 28, 2025, there are new addresses for where to send petitions. Please be very careful to check in each individual instance for the precise location when determining where to send your petition via the USCIS webpage on Direct Filing Addresses for Form I-129. The addresses vary depending on all of the following conditions:
- Classification (O-1B & O-2; P petitions)
- Whether you are filing with or without a concurrent request for Premium Processing Service
- The state in which the petitioner’s primary office is located
- Method of mailing (USPS vs. FedEx, UPS, and DHL deliveries)
- Form I-907 to a Pending Form I-129 has its own accordion category with its own locations corresponding to state of petitioner’s primary office and method of mailing.
The groupings according to state are not consistent between classifications, so again, be sure to check very carefully to ensure you are selecting the correct location depending on all of the factors listed above. And as a reminder of good practice, always be sure to download the latest posted edition of form I-129 directly from the USCIS website, since the release of new editions is not always broadly announced.
