Visa Petitioners: PPS Fee Now $1,440 – and must use new form - (12/03/19)
Due to delays in regular processing (currently taking 2 months to 4 months at California Service Center; 2 weeks to 2.5 months at Vermont Service Center) many petitioners are finding they need to utilize the Premium Processing Service (PPS) for a faster response, within 15 calendar days. Please remember that as of December 2, 2019, the PPS fee has increased to $1,440, which does not include the base filing fee that accompanies the I-129 petition. Also, USCIS has specified that requests for PPS must be done using the latest edition of the form, which was posted early yesterday evening. As always, start each petition fresh by downloading the latest edition from USCIS. You can find the 12/2/19 version of the form I-907 to request PPS here.
